Description

DESC: 1005-00-726-6835, Part Number 7266835, the item to procure is a Body Assembly Barrel, used on the M2 .50 Cal Machine Gun. Consisting of Body 7266834, (2)Guide 6009283, (2)Rivet 5009283, (2)Depressor 6009712. Material is steel or malleable cas t iron body and steel depressors. Approximately 10 inches long by 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Heat Treat and Phosphate Coating required. Requirements are 1,200 AY, Body Assembly, Barrel. The proposed contract will include a 200 percent option. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is on or about 09 June 2004. This date is just an estimate. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopie s will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electro nically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the reje ction of same. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that will be provided via the internet, along with the soliciation.
