Description

The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price sole source contract with Maine Aerospace Consulting, 19 Littlebrook Dr., Falmouth, ME 04105 for consulting services to develop a technique to estim ate precision airdrop system position, velocity and altitude and MATLAB based computer program for trajectory reconstruction of air delivery systems using offline estimation of parachute deployment-phase dynamics and inertial measurements in the absence of GPS measurements during the initial deployment sequence, from exit to steady-state descent. The (North American Industry Classification System) NAICS code is 541512 with a size standard of $21 million. Award of the requirement shall be in accordance wit h FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Responses other than Maine Aerospace Consulting may identify their interest in providing the requirement by submitting a proposal by way of an email to Cyndi Fo rd, Contract Specialist at Cyndi.Ford@yuma.army.mil no later than 4:30 PM MST 2 June 2004.
