- Description
- The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences intends to award a sole source purchase order to BMG Labtech Inc., pursuant to 41-U.S.C. 253(c)(1)-Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is a commercial item procurement for a FLUOstar Optima microplate reader with the following features: four measured principles (fluorescence, time resolved fluorescence, visible and low UV absorbance, glow luminescence and flash with injectors); high performance luminescence measurement with dedicated noise reduction circuits, photon counting, 2,000,000 counts per second, BRET capable; reads 8 multichromatic filter pairs per plate (all modes) FURA, INDO, 260/280; top/bottom reading, programmable shaking, 45 degree C incubation; 250 nm to 740 nm detection (900nm with extended PMT); accommodates two reagent injectors, 5-350ul in one 0.5ul increments; can collect data as fast as 50ms, 20 points per second; FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliant software; maintenance kit, cables, Windows control/evaluation software & instruction manuals, and 2-year P/L warranty. Includes 8 filters-Excitation: 485, 544, 584 nm, Emission: 520,590, 612 nm; Absorbance: 492, 629 nm; installation and training. All responsible sources may respond by submitting a written narrative statement of capability within 15 days of date of notice to Elaine Shoaf at the above address or fax 919 541-5117. Response must include detailed technical information and other technical literature demonstrating the ability to meet these requirements. Responses shall also include itemized pricing that is sufficient to make a determination that competition is feasible. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 days of this notice to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, an order will be placed with BMG Labtech, Inc.
