Description
Defense Contracting Command-Washington (DCC-W), in support of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Networks and Information Integration. is conducting a market survey in accordance with FAR 10.0001 to determine the extent of Small Business participation and capability to perform the Networks and Informati on Integration. requirement summarized below and in accordance with the statement of work. Interested parties may access the Statement of Work at: http://dccw.hqda.pentagon.mil/services/sole.htm Title: INFORMATION SECURITY ZONES AND CRITICAL INFORMATION MANAGEMENT IN AUSTERE ENVIRONMENTS The NAICS code is 541611 and size standard is $6M. This is NOT a request for proposal. The purpose of the Statement of Work (SOW) is to provide managerial, technical and strategic support for the innovative approaches to force protection capabilities in critical areas. Specifically, the SOW requirements provide for the establishment of Info rmation Security Zones that will augment force protection capabilities at designated military bases and installations in Iraq and Romania, and/or in other locations as directed. Additionally, Strong Angel II and Operation Know Where will develop, test and evaluate a suite of tools designed for humanitarian information collection and use within austere environments, applying technologies that allow for the (consensual) identification and tracking of humans and other humanitarian assets. The expected period of performance will be for a date of award through September 2004 Performance shall be principally at the contractor's facility with occasional visits to the facilities at the Pentagon and in Rosslyn, Arlington, Virginia.
