Description

W017PM-04-R-0007 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Afghanistan Engineer District, intends to issue a multiple award indefinite delivery type contract for design/build construction services within the country of Afghanistan. Construction services shall include topographic s urveys, geotechnical services, building and infrastructure design, construction of roads, infrastructure, buildings, dams, building renovations, and professional engineering services during construction. The design/build construction services are required in support of diverse programs within Afghanistan, including international and Afghanistan military construction, border and highway police building construction, and generally any program for which the Afghanistan Engineer District is tasked to construct within Afghanistan. As a multiple award contract, the total annual value of the contract is between $25-$100 million per year. The contract will consist of a base year and four contract option years. Each task order will be competed for award, and under compelling circumstanc es some task orders can be set aside for sole source procurements. The source selection plan for the basic contract and individual task order awards shall be identified in the solicitation specifications, which is scheduled to be released on or about 16 Ju ne 2004.
