Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is set-aside for small business only. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 811212, Size Standard $21M. Solicitation/Purchase Request number FUGPL941400100 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-22 & 23, effective 05 May 2004. The Government intends to award a contract for EXTREMEWORKS 48-Hour Hardware Replacement and Software Updates. This contract will consist of 1 line item as follows: (CLIN 0001) EXTREMEWORKS 48-Hour Hardware Replacement and Software Updates. Provide ExtremeWorks 48 hour advanced replacement hardware for eight Summit24e3 switches, thirty six Summit48 SX Basic L3 switches, two BD 6808 Chassis and three Summit48si switches. Provide Epicenter Software and Extremeware Software updates, upgrades, patches and documentation. Provide access to the Extreme Network Technical Assistance Center (TAC), eSupport (24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year) and web access to obtain software releases, case logging and updates, network topology and device configuration storage and RMA requests.
