- Description
- The Government intends to negotiate a Requirements type contract with firm fixed prices for packing, crating, drayage of household goods for as required by Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Personal Property Division, Norfolk, Virginia. This is a 100% full and open competition under North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) 484210. Offers must have the necessary management staff, material, facility and equipment to fulfill the requirements set forth in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Solicitation N00189-04-R-0034 is for a base period (date of award to 31 Dec 04) with four additional one-year options to start beginning of each calendar year. The solicitation shall be issued on or around 10 June 2004. Pre-proposal Conference will be held on 15 June 2004, at the Consolidated Personal Property Office, Building SDA 336, Naval Base, Norfolk, VA. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at http://www.neco.navy.mil and http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the offeror will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal. By submission of a proposal, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
