Description

This synopsis provides notice of the Government?s intent to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit a purchase order on a sole source basis with DiamondWare LTD, 4850 E. Baseline Road, Suite 107, Mesa, AZ 85206-4626 for the items listed below, under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. This action is not set aside for small business. The NAICS code is 541511. This action is under the authority of FAR Part 13.5. The items are commercial items. The items will be used to support the Joint Base Station (JBS) Variant Two (V2) Project. DiamondWare is the sole developer of proprietary software that meets all the JBS user functional requirements with a commercial off the shelf (COTS) product. These products meet the government?s minimum requirements and meet the form, fit, function, and interface the same as those previously procured for the JBS system to ensure interoperability, interchangeability, and standardization. The contract line item number and description is *** CLIN 0001 quantity 1 lot, VICOM Control Software, V1.3, Numenor License providing for 170 Radio Control Boxes and 399 Clients. Each Numenor suite of software is composed of the following software programs: Telephony Sound ToolKit (Tele-STK) v2.94, Telephony Network ToolKit (Tele-NTK) v2.8, Orthanc v7.0, Gondor v4.6, and Palantir v5.5; and CLIN 0002, quantity 1 lot, Shipping to St. Inigoes, MD (if applicable). *** Award is expected 25 June 2004. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received 21 June 2004 2 p.m. EST. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
