- Description
- Pending the availability of funds, ED intends to modify contract number ED00CO0119. ED entered into contract # ED00CO0119 on September 27, 2000 with Westat of Rockville, MD. The period of performance of this contract is 9/27/00 - 9/26/05. The purpose of this contract is to study program quality and management of drug and violence prevention activities implemented in public schools. The purpose of this modification is to narrow the study in order to focus on measuring research-based programs and practices on dimensions of prevalence and fidelity and to reduce the number of survey instruments. OMB requested this modification in order to better align this study with the No Child Left Behind Act. This modification will extend the period of performance of this contract until 9/30/07. ED anticipates award of this modification on or before September 1, 2004. See Numbered Note 22.
