*****ATTENTION*****FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO Laverne Askew. No telephone request will be accepted. NSN: 2840-01-008-5730; QTY: 40 each, PRON AX4T7160AX, APN: 1-101-370-03, applicable to the (BB) T-53 (UH- 1/AH-1/OV-1 Turbine Engine). F.O.B. Destination with delivery to Secaucus, NJ 07094-1617. Required delivery with First Article Testing is 40 each, 314 Days after Contract Award (DACA), the First Article Test Report is due 197 DACA. Required delivery wit hout First Article Testing is 40 each, 209 Days DACA. This is a Small Business Set-Aside that is limited to those small businesses, which are approved. This is a Critical Safety Part. This item is restricted to the approved small businesses: Birken Manuf acturing Company, Cage: 31340, Dynatch International Co., Cage: 63172, and Ambel Precision MFG. Corp., Cage: 54850 because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existi ng unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. Firms that recognize and ca n produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR and P olicy Related to Source Approval Request. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency.
