- Description
- The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Mathematica Policy Research, Inc. to conduct the second of two contiguous, 4-year evaluations to assess the impact on Medicare beneficiaries of the use of telemedicine on access to health care services, on costs of health care services, and on quality of life. The telemedicine services are being delivered to Medicare beneficiaries with diabetes within the second phase of the Informatics, Telemedicine, and Education Demonstration (IDEATel). See Note 22. If no affirmative written documentation is received within thirty (30) calendar days of this synopsis, CMS will proceed with negotiations of an award to Mathematica Policy Research, Inc.
