Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to purchase the following items: (1) Mercury TEST DIRECTOR ENTERPRISE 8.0 5 PACK SITE CONCURRENT - PERPETUAL, part number: L1TEPPX760WZ/01 and (1) Annual Maintenance: MERCURY TEST DIRECTOR ENTERPRISE 8.0 5 PACK SITE CONCURRENT - PERPETUAL, part number: L1TEPPX760WZ/01M. These Mercury Interactive TestDirector Licenses are used at the Naval Surface Weap ons Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) to support establishing and maintaining an Aegis Open Architecture development and testing environment. Aegis OA is being integrated into Aegis Baseline 7P1 cruiser and destroyer computer programs. The Mercury Interactive TestDirector application has been selected as the test management program for Aegis OA application developers in support of the Aegis OA mission. The developer, Lockheed Martin, has selected the Aegis OA computer programs and support applications. Lockheed Martin has selected the Mercury Interactive TestDirector application as part of their infrastructure support for Aegis OA. The sole source nature of this procurement is to maintain compatibility with the developer of the Aegis OA computer programs. These Licenses will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. The closin g date will be 24 June 2004 with an anticipated award date of June 29, 2004. All items will be priced FOB-Destination, Dahlgren, Virginia. Delivery shall be 30 days after receipt of order. The GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS NOTICE. Electronic quote submission is encouraged to XDS12@nswc.navy.mil, but the quote may also be faxed to (540) 653-4089 or delivered to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Attn: XDS127, Bldg. 183, Room 104, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100.
