- NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTION (NOCA). The Cryptologic Systems Group (CPSG) intends to award on a sole source basis a Fixed Priced Contract with an Option for the procurement of Cryptographic COMSEC Equipment items to the OEM, Sypris Electronics, LLC, 10901 Malcolm McKinley Drive, Tampa FL 33612-6455. This requirement was previously announced in a Sources Sought Synopsis in the FedBizOps on 5 May 2004. This proposed acquisition will include the following requirement: Current Requirement: 15 each, KI-17 Assembly, NSN: 5810-01-417-0904, P/N: 0N614700-2. The KI-17 Assembly is a Type 1 Multi-Algorithmic Ground Encryptor/Decryptor used for Space Command and Telemetry Applications. This assembly will include Cryptographic Support Storage (CSS) Module which contains E-HOU Daughter Card, P/N: 0N669240. 116 each, E-HQL Module, NSN: Not-Stock-Listed (NSL), P/N: 0N652066-1. This module is a Cryptographic Processor (CP) used to populate the communication channels within the KI-17 Assembly. 26 each, E-HKT Module, NSL, P/N: 0N614910-2. This item is a Pegasus CP Module used to populate the communication channels within the KI-17 Assembly. This Module includes U-BLX Pegasus ASIC, NSN: 5810-01-417-0906CA. 5 each, Circuit Card Assembly, NSL, P/N: 0N614740-2. This Module does not include the U-BLX Pegasus ASIC. 7 each, Power Supply, NSL, P/N: 0N614704-2. This Power Supply is used in the KI-17 Assembly. Optional Requirement: 4 each, KI-17 Assembly, NSN: 5810-01-417-0904, P/N: 0N614700-2. 74 each, E-HQL Module, NSL, P/N: 0N652066-1. 12 each, E-HQM Module, NSL, P/N: 0N652067-1. This Cryptographic Support Module is a component of the KI-17 Assembly. 12 each, E HXX 1 Module, NSL, P/N: 0N614707-2. This Module is a CSS Module which contains E-HOU Daughter Card, P/N: 0N669240. 50 each, E-HOU Card, NSL, P/N: 0N669240. This is a Daughter Card mounted on the CSS Module within the KI-17 Assembly. Required Delivery: 18 months after issuance of Contract. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source IAW 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one (1) responsible source. The Government intends to make an award by September 2004. No technical data/drawings/Technical Orders are available. If a firm believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirement, it may identify their interest and capability to the Contract Specialist within fifteen (15) days of this publication. Those interested firms must indicate whether they are a large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a), or women owned business and whether they are U.S. or foreign owned. See Notes 22, 26. See Note 26.
