Description
The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) in a negotiated procurement for the acquisition of a Visitor Ticketing and Tracking System for the Presidential Libraries. The Presidential Libraries currently use a variety of automated and manual techniques to sell visitor tickets and collect information for statistical review. This results in data that is difficult to consolidate and analyze which leads to unreliable statistics for decision-making purposes. A solution is sought which will provide accurate data collection and will support ease of analysis of that data for the growing Presidential Library System. Furthermore, the solution should also provide for efficient maintenance of the system which includes compatibility with systems already in place at the JFK Presidential Library and the George H. Bush Presidential Library and an ASP link the Presidential Library Headquarters in College Park, MD. Finally, as part of an overall effort to improve customer service and satisfaction, there is a 15 month window for system wide implementation. The following Libraries will require installation: William Clinton Library, Ronald Reagan Library, Lyndon B. Johnson Library, Gerald Ford Library, Jimmy Carter Library, Harry S. Truman Library, Herbert Hoover Library, Dwight D. Eisenhower Library, and the Franklin D. Roosevelt Library. The contract awarded as a result of this RFP will be a Firm-Fixed Price supply contract with Department of Labor wage determinations incorporated, as necessary. The Term of the contract will be for a Base Period of twelve (12) months plus two twelve month Option Periods. Copies of the RFP, which will be available on or about June 28, 2004, may be obtained through the Federal Business Opportunities web site at www.fedbizopps.gov. It is the Offeror’s responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments, if any. All Contractors interested in receiving notification of updates/amendments to the solicitation posted on the EPS are urged to enroll on the web site mailing list for this acquisition. Those Contractors enrolled will be notified automatically of any changes made to the RFQ through their e-mail addresses. No telephone or fax RFP request will be accepted. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (22-JUN-2004); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
