Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotations are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This is a Request for Quotation, RFQ number APHIS-04-32. The United States Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) plans to procure the following: Midland Midway Syntech 2 Mobile Radio Chassis Model 70-3800BMM, Quantity 75. This radio chassis will only work with existing cables and control heads already owned by APHIS. Quotations must include tax payer identification number (TIN), DUNS number, business size, GSA Schedule number (if applicable). All quotations must be signed. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses which are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 24. The NAICS code is 334220. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications – Commercial Items, with its offer. This may be found at www.arnet.gov. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract terms and Conditions – Commercial Items and clause FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders – Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.
