Description

?This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command.? The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order on a Sole-Source basis to Lynntech Industries LTD, 7607 Eastmark Drive, College Station, TX 77840-4023 to obtain CLIN ITEM 0001 Qty 1 EA Fuel Cell Test Station system consisting of the following SLIN ITEMS: 000101 QTY 1 EA Electronic Loadbank, 000102 QTY 1 EA Gas Metering Unit, 000103 QTY 1 EA Upgrade for Forward Pressure, 000104 QTY 1 EA Bubble Type Humidifier, 000105 QTY 2 EA Stainless Steel Transfer Lines, 000106 QTY 1 EA Yokogawa for Cell Voltage Monitoring, 000107 QTY 1 EA Data Acquisition Control System, 000108 QTY 1 EA Humidity Transducer, and 000109 QTY 1 LO System Installation and Demonstration of all ITEM 0001 Fuel Cell Test Station system SLIN items. The Government plans to issue a request for written quote to Lynntech Industries LTD.using FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 under the authority of USC 2304 (c)(1). The anticipated award date is 22 July 2004. This action is being processed on a Sole Source basis due to the fact that the Lynntech Industries LTD?s design is proprietary to Lynntech Industries LTD. There are no acceptable substitutes available. No other vendors are approved to offer this item. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Instead, they may be accessed at our web site http://www.npt.nuwc.navy.mil/contract/. We also provide electronic access in our Bid Room.
