- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F13ADR41071100 is being issued a Request for Quotation (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for certain commercial items found at FAR 13.5. The solicitation document and incorporation provisions and clause are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-22 and Class Deviation 2004-00001, AFAC 2004-0419, AETC FAR Sup (15 Apr 2003), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, and Defense Change Notice (DCN) 20040323. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System code is 423210 with a small business size standard of 100 employees. Replacement and Installation of auditorium seating is FOB Destination and the place of delivery and installation is at 401 Chenault Circle, CADRE/XORB BLDG. 1400A, Maxwell AFB Alabama, 36112. Description of Requirement: CLIN 0001 Remove and replace seating in both auditorium in building 1400A first floor with #3610 Madrid TA Chairs, floor mounted, upholstered back, 4 inch molded, contoured back foam, molded plastic rear panel, 4 inch molded foam seat with plastic bottom cover blow molded aisle panel with wood insert with tablet arms. No aisle lights. Five-year warranty. Price includes removal of old seating, delivery and installation of new seating. Fabric style will be Duet, color will be blue; plastic laminate for tablet arms MR 3 5T (Navy Matrix); End panels and armrests will be No. 12 (Rosewood). Configuration will be in accordance to drawings provided. Another vendor will install carpet when old seating and mounting bolts are removed, prior to installation of new seating. Quantity 321 each.Period of performance is projected 15 August 2004 to 11 September 2004, but dates could change by government?s discretion.
