Description

This is an unrestricted procurement. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Provision 52.219-04 Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for HUBZone Small Business Concerns will be incorporated into the solicitation. The Bureau of Reclamation, Mid-Pacific Region has a requirement for five replacement digital-electronic turbine governors. This procurement is being procured under Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 334513. The small business standard for this requirement is: 500 employees. The work to be performed under this solicitation includes designing, manufacturing, furnishing, and delivering three replacement digital-electronic turbine governors and appurtenant parts for the hydraulic turbines at Shasta Lake Power-plant, Shasta Lake California. The governors will be used to control the speed, power output, or water flow of the units while generating. A site visit is tentatively scheduled for July 19, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. The point of contact for the site visit is Mr. James Powell; and he can be reached at (530) 229-5322 for a site visit appointment. The resultant contract will be a supply and erecting engineer services at a fixed price. The solicitation will be issued on or about July 12, 2004. All requests for information (RFI's) shall be submitted in writing and faxed to Mr. George Gardner at (530) 275-2441 or e-mail ggardner@mp.usbr.gov A free copy of the drawings may be obtained by adding your firm to the "bidders mailing list." You will also need to add your firm to the bidders mailing list to ensure receipt of any future amendments to this requirement. Vendors must also register CCR prior to award of a contract.
