- Description
- The Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and other resources necessary to complete this project. The principal components of work include but are not limited to the following: Remove approximately 113 miles of existing steel stranded overhead ground wire and install Government-furnished fiber optic overhead ground wire on two transmission lines. The work is located in McLean, McHenry, Pierce, and Ward Counties in North Dakota. This solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. All work is to be completed by October 1, 2005. All responsible business concerns may submit a bid which shall be considered by this Agency. Estimated construction magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This solicitation will be issued on or about July 15, 2004 and the projected bid opening date is on or about August 17, 2004. Interested bidders must email, fax, or mail the Contract Specialist to request the specifications and applicable drawings. DO NOT post any questions or responses to the IFB on IIPS. Any questions or responses posted on the IIPS that concern this IFB will not be considered during the evaluation and award process.
