Description

Project No. SHHR 04-1447/1448/1449/1450/1451/1452 & 04-1460 Repair Transformer Houses #2,3,4,5,6,7a & Pine Grove Camp Funds are currently not available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. NOTE: THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. AWARDS CAN ONLY BE MADE TO FIRMS LICENSED AND AUTHORIZED TO PERFORM WORK IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS ARE INVITED TO DOWNLOAD INFORMATION CONCERNING THIS PROJECT. The work includes but is not limited to (a) demolition of existing transformer house #1 & #2; (b) construct new switchgear house equipped with disconnect switch metal clad switchgear, vacuum circuit breaker (VCB) metal clad switchgear, overhead medium voltage cable termination, vault panel board interior lighting, conduits and wiring including civil, architectural and electrical works; (c) construct new transformer #1 including civil, architectural, mechanical and electrical work (new pad mounted transformer, panel board, circuit breakers, magnetic contactors, lighting, receptacles; (d) replace existing main primary cable with new and provide 2-4 way junction pedestal at existing manhole; (e) providing new temporary branch circuit feeder cable and duct; (f) providing new secondary handholes; (g) providing spare conduit between transformer house and new handhole and associated civil works: asphaltic concrete pavement, sidding, concrete side walk, cub and gutter restoration and incidental related work in strict compliance with contract specifications and drawings to the terms and conditions of the contract.
