Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in order to receive an award. The website address for registration is: http://www.ccr.dlsc.dla.mil. This requirement is to repair 32 M1 Abrams Mine Plows at the 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is for al l operational maintenance, services and repairs to include the following: Cleaning and servicing, disassembly as needed for repair, inspection of all welds, test motors and replace if needed, replace all non-functioning or damaged parts, straighten/realign components, reassembly and primer painted, and pickup and delivery. The North American Industry Classification System Code applicable to this acquisition is 541330 and the small business size standard is $4M. This solicitation is unrestricted. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. The date and time for receipt of offer is 12 July 2004, 3:00 PM. The Government will consider all offers received by the closing date after publ ication of this synopsis.
