Description

Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Orlando, TSD intends to issue a solicitation for commercial items on 8 July 2004. This solicitation will be designated for full and open competition. The requirement of this solicitation will be a display system that will be an integral part of the Multipurpose Supporting Arms Trainer (MSAT) located at EWTGLANT, Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek. The MSAT display system shall be a full color, real image wide-angle display. The solicitation will be in accordance with FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items and will utilize the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth within FAR Part 13. Supporting documentation will be issued upon release of this solicitation. This notice is published to satisfy the requirements of FAR Part 5. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, but rather a notice of the Government?s intent. Please direct all questions regarding this Presolicitation Notice to the identified Contract Specialist. All inquires regarding this acquisition must reference the Solicitation Number identified within this notice.
