Description

This solicitation is being solicited solely to companies within Portugal and its territories. Provide for the design, furnishing, installation, testing, and operation of a Land Mobile Radio (LMR) and Base Paging System Remote Monitoring System at Lajes Field, Azores. Requirement is to have contractor provide equipment (hardware, software, & connectivity) capable of providing real-time remote monitoring and troubleshooting of 65 Air Base Wing, Lajes Field, Azores, LMR and Base Page System infrastructure. Base stations, repeaters, and associated support LMR and Paging System equipment at Serra do Cum/Praia Ridge location require remote monitoring. Remote monitoring needs to take place from Serra do Cum/Praia Ridge to Lajes Field. Commercial land-line communications (fiber optics) should be utilized where feasible to the Government Demarcation. The solicitation will be available for downloading and viewing at Fed Biz Opps at http://www.eps.gov on or about 26 May 2004. All contractors interested in receiving notifications of updates and amendments are urged to enroll on the web site mailing list. Contractors enrolled will be notified automatically of any changes made to the requirement through their email address. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (24-MAY-2004).
