- Description
- Solicitation FA6606-04-B-0005 ? Project YTPM 97-0063, Construct Two Stall Fire Station. Work consists of site preparation, underground utilities and site work to support the construction of a new one story building of approximately 5200 square feet housing a two stall apparatus room, administrative space and living quarters. The structure consists of a concrete foundation and slab on grade; structural steel framing; pre-engineered metal truss roof framing; shingled roof; reinforced masonry and light guage steel wall framing with exterior brick masonry veneer and insulated finishing system; interior partition construction and finishes. Building systems and utilities include plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, fire sprinkler and alarm systems, electrical power and lighting systems, communication and data network system support and site grading and restoration. THIS PROJECT IS BEING SOLICITED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM. The small business size standard applicable to this project is $28,500,000.00 and the NAICS (North American Industrial Classification System) Code is 236220. Bid issue will be on 13 August 2004 with a bid opening date of 17 September 2004. Performance period shall be 365 calendar days after issuance of the notice to proceed. The estimated cost of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. All requests to be placed on the mailing list shall be done in writing by either letter, FAX or e-mail.
