Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 13 and the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Navy requires moving the School of Aviation Safety from Naval Postgraduate School (NPS), Monterey, CA to Naval Air Station, Pensacola, FL IAW the statement of work (SOW) provided herein. The move shall commence from 14 September 2004 and complete by 05 October 2004. For site survey/visit, please contact LCDR Vik Sardana at (831) 656-2357. This announcement constitutes the solicitation; A SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number N0024404T0839 is herby issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-24 and DFAR Change Notice 20040625. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to independently review the referenced web link frequently for updates to any and all documents. Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). This solicitation is restricted to small businesses under Standard Industrial Code 4213 with a small business size standard of $21.5M. NAICS Code is 4842109. This acquisition is being acquired for the School of Aviation Safety, NPS. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items applies. Addendum to FA! R 52.212-1, Paragraph (b)(5): Offers shall provide an express warranty which at a minimum shall be the same warranty terms, including offers of extended warranties, offered to the general public. Express warranties shall be included in the contract.
