Description

This notice is not a solicitation. This announcement serves as a sources sought notice for an upcoming competitive acquisition to provide the United States Air Force Academy with a High repetition Rate, Sapphire Laser. Required Specifications include: ** 18-Watt CW SLM Pump Laser ** Regenerative Laser Amplifier, Ti: Sapphire ** Second Harmonic Generator for REGA output, > 10% efficiency @ 852 nm. The NAICS is 334413 and the SIC is 3674. This notice is designed to locate responsible sources who have an interest, and have the ability to supply the items/services as described herein. Responsible vendors who are interested may contact Greg D. Moore, USAFA Contracting Specialist, via email at gregory.moore@usafa.af.mil, by 4 p.m. Mountain Standard Time, 09 August 2004. Interested vendors must provide the company's name, a point of contact, contact information, and the size of the business (e.g., small, large) and the DUNS number. Only responsible suppliers need respond. NOTE: Specifications that are more detailed will accompany the solicitation. The official solicitation is due to be publicly announced in mid August 2004.
