Description

Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment and materials and perform all work in connection with construction of a parking lot near building 2435 at Fort Jackson, S C. Work will include demolition of existing parking areas, top coating of r oadways and new site lighting. The Government anticipates that the solicitation will be issued on or around 17 August 2004. The requirement is being considered for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set Aside (SDVOSB). Interested SDVOSBs must ce rtify in writing that they will bid on the requirement if it is set aside for SDVOSBs.If two or more such firms provide the written certification, the requirement will be set aside. If two or more SDVOSB fail to meet the certification requirement, the req uirement will be solicited as a HUBZone Set Aside without further notice. Written certifications from SDVOSB may be faxed to (803)751-5429 to the attention of the contract specialist and must be received within five days of the date of this notice in order to be considered. The solicitation will be posted to the asfi/fedbizopps web sites. Bidders are responsible for obtaining a copy of the solicitation (and any amendments) from the website. The magnitude of construction is between $100,000. and $250,000. Th e applicable NAICS Code is 237310, $28.5 mil.
