Description

The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment and constructing approximately 800 feet of bank stabilization on the Ouachita River in Union County, Arkansas. Principal features of work include clearing, grubbing, debris re moval, earthwork, furnishing and placing bedding stone and R200 riprap, erosion control and environmental protection. No access to the construction site will be provided from the landside of the intake. All plant, labor, materials and equipment shall be delivered to the site using marine based equipment. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Plans and Specifications will be available on the Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office Web Page at http://www.mvk.us ace.army.mil/contract/ and on compact disc at no charge. Hardcopies will not be available. The CD-ROM may be requested electronically by registering on our homepage or mailing your request to VCCO at 4155 Clay Street, Vicksburg, MS 39183-3435.
