Description

The US Ship Repair Facility, Sasebo Japan has a requirement for Heated Non Icing Fixed Window Assemblies with Frame and Controller Box. All window assemblies and components must be delivered to Travis Air Force Base no later than 13 September 2004. This acquisition will be acquired on a sole source basis through the CORNELL-CARR CO INC., Monroe CT. Cornell-Carr is the only manufacturer that can supply direct replacement parts within the necessary timeframe. No other combination of products will be acceptable. FOB: Destination, Inspection/Acceptance: Destination. This acquisition will be solicited utilizing the procedures of FAR Parts 12 and 13.5, Commercial Acquisition utilizing SAP 13.5, Commercial Test Program. The estimated date of commercial Request for Quote (RFQ) publication is August 18, 2004. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by FISCPS. The RFQ and ANY SUBSEQUENT AMENDMENTS will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. NO TELEPHONE OR FAX REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED, AND NO HARD-COPY SOLICITATION/AMENDMENT WILL BE MAILED OR FAXED. Electronic submission of quotes is not available at this time. Facsimile quotes will NOT be accepted.
