Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center, Bronx, NY, intends to negotiate a contract with the following Community Hospitals: Orange Regional Medical Center, Hudson Valley Hospital Center, Phelps Memorial Hospital and Putnam Hospital for the following services: (a) DEXA (Bone Density Testing) Scans (b) Screening Mammography Services (c) Diagnostic Mammography Services, Bilateral, (d) Diagnostic Mammography Services, Unilateral (e) Breast Ultrasound Exams (f) Fine Needle Localizations (g) Breast Aspirations (h) Stereotactic Biopsies. A Justification for other than full and open competition is prepared in support of this acquisition. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contact based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Applicable NAICS code 621512.
