Description

Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials and transportation to complete Project 568-03-202 at the VA Black Hills Health Care System, Hot Springs, SD. Work shall include removal of existing dry-pipe automatic fire sprinkler system (including all sprinklers, piping, accessories and appurtances), and replacement with a wet-pipe automatic fire sprinkler system for Building 7, Domiciliary. Existing fire protection water service shall be re-used. Existing hanger locations and pipe penetrations shall be reused where possible to limit disturbance of existing finishes. Existing fire alarm flow and tamper switches at the service entrance shall be reconnected to the new devices. A refundable deposit of $50.00 is required for the bidding plans and spcifications. Checks shall be made out to the attention of the "Agent Cashier". Requests for the plans and specifications must be in writing addressed to the Contracting Officer, (FIN 20), 500 North 5th Street, Hot Springs, SD 57747. Construction estimate for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Plans and specifications shall be available approximately August 13, 2004. Bid opening is scheduled for September 10, 2004 at 3:00pm local time. This solicitation is set aside for small businesses. Applicable NAICS code is 238990, All other Specilaty Trade Contractors. Subject to the availability of funds.
