Description

This acquisition is being offered as an 8(a) set aside for firms with a bona-fide location in New Mexico under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 238140 with a size standard of $12,000,000. The project is located at Holloman AFB, New Mexico and surrounding areas and involves the removal, disposal, repair, and/or replacement of existing shingle, built up, and metal roofing systems. Performance period for the requirements contract resulting from this solicitation will be one (1) basic with four (4) one year option periods. Magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 for the life of the contract. Issue date for this solicitation is anticipated to be on or about August 24, 2004 with closing date 30 calendar days after issuance. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal Performance Price Trade-Off (PPT) technique to arrive at a best value award decision. Under PPT, past performance will be evaluated. When solicitation is downloaded, it should be read completely, as there are milestones an offeror will need to meet to be considered responsive. This solicitation will be available via the Internet at the following address: www.eps.gov. At the home page select the EPS for vendors. A series of indexes will follow requiring these selections: USAF-Offices; Air Combat Command-Offices; 49 CONS-Posted Dates.
