- ANSWERS TO INDUSTRY QUESTIONS ON UPS/PCC Question 1. What is the wattage and does the DC need to support it? What kind of connection does the DC need? Answer Question 1. DC INPUT:22-32 VDC. AC OUTPUT: 115 VAC, 60 Hz, 800 W unit - nominal 1250VA 1 KW unit - nominal 1500 VA 2 KW unit - nominal 2500 VA DC connector - A Current Industry Standard - not specifying a connector on COTS Question 2. Would you please clarify the input/output voltages required? Answer Question 2. Nominal minimum input 110VAC Would like 110 VAC/220 VAC/22-32 VDC or 110VAC/22-32VDC There is no DC output. Question 3. Does the AMCOM have a preference regarding COTS or ruggedized? Answer Question 3. AMCOM requires ruggedized, fully flight qualified units for Airborne applications. This is not part of this survey. These units will be used Army wide in Tactical Ground appications in wheeled, tracked and shelter applications, exampl es might be ASAS,AFATDS, etc.
