Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for Installation of Irrigation Well System at Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge in Columbia, NC. Work includes but is not limited to drilling of one 10 inch agricultural type well and installation of 10 inch vertical turbine well pump. This is not a Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 238990. The size standard is $12.0 million. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The tentative RFQ issue date is on or about 08/18/04, with a 09/15/04 closing date. A firm fixed price purchase order will be issued with a performance period of 60 days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is 09/15/04. The RFQ documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at HTTP://FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under RFQ Number 401814Q016. Paper copies WILL NOT be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments. Note: Prospective offeror's must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) HTTP://WWW.CCR.GOV in order to be eligible for award. CCR registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number, which can be obtained free of charge from Dun and Bradstreet at (800) 333-0505.
