Description
SUPPLIES SOURCES SOUGHT: The National Ocean Service Hollings Marine Laboratory has a requirement for an Avanti J-20XPI Centrifuge, 22/208/240V, 50/60Hz and a Small Pellet Core for the JFC-Z Rotor. The equipment must be compatible with the Beckman Coulter centrifuges which include a SR drive that provides faster acceleration and deceleration rates. The proposed action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. If no qualified responses are received, the Government intends to contract with Beckman Coulter, Inc., Biomedical Research Div., 4300 N. Harbor Blvd., M/S E-28-C, P.O. Box 3100, Fullerton, CA 92834. This is not intended to be a competitive proposal. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities by submitting a required qualifications statement. In order to be considered, firms must furnish detailed product data concerning their capability to provide the supplies that will satisfy the Government?s needs. All proposals received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Central Administrative Support Center (CASC), Acquisition Management Division (AMD), requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) before October 1, 2003. After this date, NO award can be made unless the vender is registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR please access the following web site: http://www.ccr.gov/.
