Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration intends to procure electrical renovation of the existing National Marine Fisheries Service Laboratory in Panama City, FL. The price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The acquisition is set aside 100% for small business. NAICS code is 238210. Business size standard is $12.0 million. The work will consist of a base bid which includes the replacement of the majority of the facilities branch circuitry and replacement of the lighting system. The project also includes various improvements to the existing electrical distribution system including, but not limited to, improved grounding system, additional circuits and wiring devices in office, and corrections to comply with the National Electrical Code. Bid additive 1 will be to replce lighting fixtures in equipment building, bid additive 2 will be to perform work associated with the Boathouse, and bid additive 3 will be to remove existing intercom system. Performance period 150 days. The resultant contract will be firm fixed price. All responsible firms may submit a bid which will be considered by the agency.
