Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration intends to procure electrical renovations at the NOAA, Southeast Fisheries Science Center, Miami, FL. The price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The acquisition is set aside 100% for small business. NAICS code 238210. Business size standard is $12.0 million. The work under the base bid includes the replacement of the majority of the facilities branch circuitry and electrical system. The project also includes various improvements to the existing electrical distribution system including, but not limited to, improved grounding system, additional circuits and writing devices in offices, and corrections to comply with the National Electrical Code. Bid additive 1 will be to perform electrical work associated with the Annex Building, bid additive 2 will be to replace lighting fixtures in Main building and in Annex building, bid additive 3 to provide and install additional receptacles in offices. Appox. size of the Science Center is 19,000 sq ft. The resultant contract will be firm fixed price. All responsible firms may submit a bid which will be considered by the agency. All solicitation requests shall be in writing which may be faxed or e-mailed to Mamie Wandick or Donita McCullough. Offerors are reminded that only companies registered in the Central Contractor Registry can receive a Government contract award.
