Description

The United States Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) proposes to enter into a five-year, Time and Materials (T&M)/Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Overhaul and Repair (O&R) services and associated spare parts for the AN/ARS-6(V) Personnel Locater Set (PLS), National Stock Numbers: (10) 5821-01-251-8685, 5821-01-245-9095, 5895-01-236-8964, 5821-01-245-9067, 5821-01251-8683, 5975-01-299-3433, 5821-01-251-9555, 5821-01-252-5441, 5821-01-251- 9556, 5821-01-324-5906. This procurement is a limited source acquisition under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(1), Only One Responsible Source. The acquisition is limited to Cubic Defense Systems (CDS), San Diego, Cal ifornia 92123. Cubic Defense Systems is the only capable source of providing required O&R services and associated spare parts of the PLS. CDS maintains configuration management of the PLS, and is the only company with the drawings, specifications, and Acc eptance Test Procedures (ATP), required to build and repair this item. The estimated maximum price for this contract is for up to $15 million. The U.S. Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) has established a Business Opportunities Page (BOP) we bsite to allow electronic transmittal of Request for Proposals (RFPs) from CECOM to Industry. It is the offeror??????s responsibility to monitor this site for release of the solicitation and any subsequent amendments or information. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to be registered in the Central Contractor Re gister (CCR) to receive contract award or payment. See Note 22.
