***ATTENTION***FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO AMSAM-AC-LS-T, Bertha Porter, CONTRACT SPECIALIST, 256-842-6105. E-MAIL ( bertha.porter@redstone.army.mil ). ***TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED*** The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command intends to acquire on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 coverage of Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV II), system installation, physical inventories and reporting from within Chadwick Helmuth Co, El Monte, CA, repair and return facility. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price contract for the base year plus 2 year options, 100% each year will be awarded to satisfy this requirement. The unique information needed to initiate various types of CAV II transactions, as well as maintain an accurate inventory of on-site AMCOM components exists only Chadwick Helmuth. This requirement is in response to a Joint Logistics Service Center (JLSC) mandate to the U.S. Army (AMC HQ) to implement cited CAV II sys tem and establish accountability of Depot Level Reparables at commercial contractor facilities.
