- Description
- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase 28 Sets of ERGM Deployable Fins. Each ERGM Deployable Fin Set will consist of 6 each fins, for a total manufacturing quantity of 168 fins. The contractor shall provide material certification reports and 100% gauging of parts verification. The drawings will be released to DOD and DOD Contractors only. All interested parties shall contact XDS11E at (540)653-7478 or xds11@nswc.navy.mil and indicate their interest and capability to r! eceive a list of the drawings. The North American Industry Classification System code is 332999, 500 employee size standard. This requirement is 100 percent set-aside for small business and FAR 52.219-6 Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside (JUL 1996) is applicable. The contract shall be a firm fixed priced contract. FOB Destination shall apply. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quote number is N00178-04-Q-1058. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-17. Inquiries may be directed to the XDS11@nswc.navy.mil, or delivered to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Attn: XDS11, Bldg. 183, 17320 Dahlgren Rd., Dahlgren VA 22448-5100. Point of Contact is XDS11E. The closing date is 17 Aug 2004 no later than 2:00 p.m. (local NSWCDD time) to: Naval Surface Warfar! e Center, Dahlgren Division, Attn: XDS11, Bldg. 183, 17320 Dahlgren Rd., Dahlgren VA 22448-5100 and anticipated award by 18 August 2004. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Quoters may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please note that defense payment offices may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT). EFT payments are based on the contractor?s EFT information contained in the CCR database.
