- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acqui sition Circular (FAC) 2001 24 (19 Jul 2004) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs), 1998 edition, and current to DCN 20040625.
