Description

The Fleet Industrial Supply Puget Sound has a requirement for two each heaters for use in a feedwater distilling plant. The heaters are original equipment manufacturer replacement parts and proprietary to Aqua Chem. This action is to be negotiated on a sole source basis with Aqua Chem-Water Technologies Division per FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In accordance with FAR 5.102(e), copies of the solicitation will be provided to firms requesting copies that were not initially solicited. Requests for copies of the solicitation shall be emailed to rabi.peifer@navy.mil. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will NOT be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time. The place of delivery, FOB Destination, is the NAVTRANS shipment point located at Tracy, California. Delivery is required within 12 weeks of award.
