Description

The Internal Revenue Service intends to issue a sole source purchase order for video spectral comparator system to include camera, lenses and viewing filters, co-axial lighting, spot light source, computer with Windows 2000 (minimum) and Pentium IV processor, and a 21" color TFT monitor, software, user's manuals, and in-house setup and training. The IRS Criminal Investigations (CI) National Forensic Laboratory (NFL) has identified the VSC-5000 manufactured by Foster and Freeman USA, Inc. of Sterling, VA as the only video spectral comparator that can meet the IRS CI NFL technical requirements. Responsible sources who can provide the above brand name or equal may submit written quotations no later than 15 days from the published date of this announcement. No solicitations will be issued, therefore, requests for solicitations will be considered non-responsive. If no responses are received the award will be made to Foster and Freeman USA, Inc.
