- Description
- NASA/MSFC has a requirement for Radio frequency (RF) electric field probe kits for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) radiated susceptibility (RS) testing. Item 1. 2 Each. Field Probe Kit Model FP5080 Kit with following specifications: Frequency response of 80MHz-26GHz (+/- 1.5dB) and 26GHz-40GHz (+/- 3 dB) and shall have a sensitivity of 1-300 V/m. The FP5080/Kit shall have a minimum response time of 300milliseconds and a sampling rate of 1-24 samples/sec. The FP5080/Kit shall have a minimum of four measurement ranges (10, 30, 100, and 300 V/m) with +/- 1.2dB isotropicity on three orthogonal axes. The FP5080/Kit shall operate in a stand-alone configuration from rechargeable battery power for a minimum of 16 hours on a full charge and shall have a charging jack on the unit. The FP5080/Kit shall communicate with the FM5004 master control center via glass fiber optic cables with a minimum 100 meter range between the units. The FP5080/Kit shall contain the FP5080 field probe, a 10meter fiber optic cable, chamber bulkhead feedthrough set and a battery charger. Item 2. 2 Each. Field Probe Kit Model FP5000 Kit with following specifications: Frequency response of 10kHz-250MHz (+/- 0.5dB) and 250MHz-1GHz (+/- 1 dB) and shall have a sensitivity of 1-300 V/m. The FP5000/Kit shall have a minimum response time of 40milliseconds and a sampling rate of 1-26 samples/sec. The FP5000/Kit shall have a minimum of four measurement ranges (10, 30, 100, and 300 V/m) with +/- 0.5dB isotropicity on three orthogonal axes. The FP5000/Kit shall operate in a stand-alone configuration from rechargeable battery power for a minimum of 20 hours on a full charge and shall have a charging jack on the unit. The FP5000/Kit shall communicate with the FM5004 master control center via glass fiber optic cables with a minimum 100 meter range between the units. The FP5000/Kit shall contain the FP5000 field probe, a 10meter fiber optic cable, chamber bulkhead feedthrough set and a battery charger. Field probe models must be 100% compatible and 100% interoperable with the Amplifier Research Model FM5004 master control center.
