Description

13 Aug 04 Due to administrative restrictions, the solicitation number for the Replacement of Switchgear/Feeders in Facility 20045 has been changed to FA8601- 04-R0075. All documents pertaining to this solicitation will be posted to PIXS using the new solicitation number. If you have registered for this acquisition under solicitation number FA8601-04-R0049, you will need to register. The solicitation package for this will be posted 13 Aug 04 as stated in the original synopsis (FA8601-04-R0049). Project Number: 04-1926 Project Title: Replace Switchgear/Feeders in Facility 20045, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The scope of this project consists of providing all labor, equipment, materials, appliances, and devices and performing all work that is necessary or required to replace the switchgear and feeders in Facility 20045 in accordance with the specifications and drawings for Project 04-1926, including all removals and miscellaneous work as specified. Work includes but is not limited to site work, concrete, mechanical, and electrical work. The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The period of performance is 150 calendar days. This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement in accordance with the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program Act of 198, Public Law 100-656 (15 U.S.C. 644 note). A hard copy of the solicitation will NOT be provided. You may however, download the solicitation from the World Wide Web. 3. There is no fee for this solicitation. 4. There are approximately 35 pages of the solicitation, 97 pages of specifications and 10 pages of drawings. 5. A hard copy of the solicitation will be available for review at Dayton Builders Exchange, Minority Contractor Business Assistance Program, and F. W. Dodge Division. 6. A registration page will be attached to the web site. You are not required to register. However, when you register you will receive notice of any amendments and/or addendums. If you have not registered, it will be your responsibility to check the web site for any changes to the solicitation. 7. You shall provide a signed copy of the SF 1442 at the time and place specified in the solicitation. 8. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to sub- contract with these contractors. Bids prepared by Debarred, Suspended, or otherwise ineligible contractors are at the risk and expense of the contractor.
