- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912P6-04-Q-0016 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The Government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote without discussions on this procurement. Award will be made to responsive and responsible Offeror who submits the lowest aggregate price. Offerors must be able to provide the following in accordance with the Scope of Work. The contractor is required to supply, and deliver cut oolitic limestone or sandstone blocks to a Corps of Engineers dock in Calumet Harbor, Illinois. The blocks shall be 7-10 Ton s in size, with no dimension greater than 6' or less than 4'. The Contractor shall deliver the cut stone blocks by marine or land transportation to the LRC Stone Dock site, which is located on the north side of the mouth of the Calumet River, in Chicago, Illinois; land access to this site is located at 86th St. and South Green Bay Avenue. Government forces will be available to unload to delivered stone blocks on specific dates and times, as described within the contract specification. stone in accordance with the Scope of Work. The NAICS code for this requirement is 212312, with a size standard of 500 employees. This acquisition is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE.
