PLEASE NOTE: This project, construction of a new USPS owned building of approximately 22,800 sf steel and masonry veneer building on a site consisting of approximately 2.2 acres located at 234 Westport Avenue, Norwalk, CT, is being offered to the following firms ONLY selected from a list of prequalified contractors in accordance with Solicitation No. 082530-04-A-0321: Standard Builders, Inc., 52 Holmes Road, Newington, CT 06111, Telephone (860) 594-7143; W. J. Mountford Co., 170 Commerce Way, South Windsor, CT 06074, Telephone (860) 291-9448; Gar-San Corp., 680 Main Street, Watertown, CT 06795, Telephone (860) 274-8874; Bismark Construction Co., Inc., 100 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford, CT 06460, Telephone (203) 876-8331; Newfield Construction, Inc., 225 Newfield Avenue, Hartford, CT 06106, Telephone (860) 953-1477; and F. B. Mattson Co., Inc., 146 Huntington Avenue, Waterbury, CT 06708, Telephone (203) 756-8871. Proposals are due no later than 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 14, 2004. Plans are NOT available from the Northeast Facilities Service Office. Subcontractors are to contact the prequalified firms directly for subcontracting opportunities.
