Description

THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT; THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. The hardware described below should be ?stand alone? systems able to operate on a generator or grid power in an austere environment with temperatures reaching 135 degrees Fahrenheit. The entire system must be able to pack on a 10?x10? base, and be no taller than 8?. 1.8M Satellite Dish, or equivalent; Workstation with USB Wireless Network Adapters; One File Server (approx 65G Storage); One Powerware 5125 UPS, or equivalent; One Linksys WAP11(V)2.2 Wireless Access Point, or equivalent; One DW2000 VSAT Terminal, or equivalent; One Cisco 7905 VOIP Phone, or equivalent; Celeron IV Processor, or equivalent; @ 2 GHz Clocking; 256MB of RAM; 30G Hard Drive; On board NIC and two USB ports; Windows XP Professional OS; HP Proliant ML350, or equivalent; Six SCSI Slots: 0-5. Slot 5 has a 72 GB HD; On board NIC and two USB ports; Dual Power Supplies with one in use. Up to 10 Clients simultaneously per Wireless Access Point (WAP); High-Speed Transfer Rate of Up to 11 Mbps; Interoperable with IEEE 802.11b (DSSS) 2.4GHz-compliant Equipment; Able to Bridge up to three WAP?s. Supported Frequencies: Ku-band (14.0-14.5 GHz uplink, 10.95-12.75 GHz downlink); Reception: 1.1 Mbps to 24 Mbps; Transmission: 128K or 256K; SNMP Network Management: Directway Vision Platform. Also provide appropriate recommendations for a gas operated generator.
