- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to solicit on an Other Than Full and Open Competition basis for the acquisition of Administrative and Clerical Support Services at the Training Air Wing Six (TW-6) located at Naval Air Station, Pensacola, FL. The services will be accomplished through a modification extending the performance period under the existing Purchase Order N00140-01-M-0289. The extension will consist of a 1-month period. The extension is for commercial services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source (Nitelines, 620 Peachtree St, NE Suite 203, Atlanta, GA 30308), under the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition, Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996, as implemented by FAR 13.501(a). The purpose of this extension is to allow sufficient time to complete the procurement process for the competitive follow-on contract. The applicable NAICS code is 561110 with a size standard of $6M. The Government intends to acquire the services from Nitelines since they are the only source that currently has the personnel and the infrastructure in place to perform the requisite services by 1 October 2004 without the an additional 30-day phase-in period (starting 1 September 2004) that would be required from a different source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all requests within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. The Government will not pay for information received. The RFQ was issued on 21 April 2004, closed on 26 May 2004 and is currently under evaluation.
