Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award, on a sole source basis, a purchase order to SEVA Foundation, Berkeley, CA. The purchase order will be for the vendor to refine Talking Circles training materials, print/laminate curriculum materials and to provide on site training to 17 tribes and to conduct 3 training sessions at the Diabetes Translation?s Annual Conference in Miami. The vendor shall also provide an expansion of website information on the Talking Circles, conduct/analyze web-based training and submit a final report evaluating findings and providing recommendations to the Project Officer. The authority for this sole source procurement is FAR Part 6.302-1, in that SEVA Foundation is the only known source for providing these services. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide the required services are encouraged to identify themselves, giving written notification to the Contracting Officer within ten days from the publication date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action, based on responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
